HOW DO I CREATE A TEMPLATE?
1. When creating a template, there are two options:
- Base the template on an existing document.
1. Go to your Document Type page.
2. Click the DocID link of the existing document.
- Base the template on a new document.
1. Go to your Document Type page.
2. Click New Form button.
3. Fill out the form, create standard inputs and formats and then submit.
4. Back in the Document Type page, refresh.
5. Click the DocID link of the document you just submitted.
2. Clicking the DocID will open the form in browser. In the task pane, click the Save As Template icon. Your base document will now be saved as a template. Take note of the new document template ID.
3. Click Close button. You can now find the new template displayed in the Document Type page. Your template is highlighted in blue and uses the default name “Template”.
