HOW DO I CREATE A NOTIFICATION?
- Sign in to FormsBoard.
- Select the domain and click Manage Domain.
- Click Notifications.
- Click Create New Notification.
- In the Notification form, select your domain from the Domain dropdown. The Document Type dropdown will be auto-populated with the names of the DocTypes present in the selected domain.
- Select your Document Type.
- Select the type of Notification to use. For details on what these types mean, please see the following section.
- Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Assigned
- Enter the number of days for which form has been assigned.
- Specify reminder frequency in hours.
- Status
- Enter the number of days for which form has been in status.
- Specify reminder frequency in hours.
- Select Status value (Saved, Submitted, Reviewed, Approved, Rejected or Closed).
- Inactive
- Enter the number of days for which form has not been modified.
- Specify reminder frequency in hours.
- Statistics (STAT)
- Daily: Specify time to be set
- Weekly: Specify time to be set and day of the week
- Monthly: Specify time to be set and day of the month
- USER
- Specify number of days for which form has been assigned.
- Specify reminder frequency in hours
- After you have selected the type of notifications and specified values in the corresponding fields, enter the username of the person in the Assign To field which is located in the right-hand pane. The user you specified will receive the notification e-mails. You may also add an additional person in the CC Alias field.
- Select a Status for the notification form. You may select Saved or Submitted as status. Make sure not to choose Rejected or Closed.
- Click Save and then Close in the task pane.
